Privacy Policy

This page explains what information 3es Academy collects when you create an account and use the site, why, and what choices you have.

What we collect

  • Email address and password — via Supabase Auth, used to sign you in. We never see or store your password in plain text; it’s handled entirely by Supabase’s authentication system.
  • Full name — optional, provided by you at signup, shown back to you in the navigation bar when logged in.
  • Course progress — which lessons/resources you’ve viewed or marked complete, so your dashboard can show your progress.
  • Subscription status — whether you have premium access to a given course, and the date it was granted.
  • Signup date and last login — basic account metadata.

We do not collect payment card details — premium access is arranged manually over WhatsApp, verified by the site admin, and never involves entering payment information on this site.

Why we collect it

Solely to run the platform: to authenticate you, show you the right content (free vs. premium), track your progress, and let you manage your own account.

Where it’s stored

All of the above is stored in Supabase, a third-party database and authentication provider. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand basic site usage (which pages are visited, roughly how many people use the site). This sets analytics cookies in your browser. We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t share this analytics data with anyone beyond Google’s standard analytics processing.

Security

We rely on Supabase’s security practices and row-level security policies to restrict access to your data, and on HTTPS for all traffic to this site. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Age requirement

This platform is intended for university-level students. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. If you’d like your account and associated data deleted, contact us (below) and we’ll remove it manually.

Your choices

  • You can ask to see what data we hold about you.
  • You can ask us to correct or delete it at any time.
  • There is currently no self-service “delete my account” button in the dashboard — requests are handled manually by the site admin while the platform is small.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform grows. Changes take effect as soon as they’re posted on this page — check back occasionally if you want to stay current.
